Enjoy an afternoon of good old-fashioned family fun with a picnic followed by a variety of sporting activities.
It is being held at the East Mersea Youth Camp on Sunday, September 9, 2007, from 2pm until 5pm, and despite the name of the venue, it is very definitely intended for people of all ages.
Worshippers at all our services (including the larks at 8am and the owls at 6.30pm) are warmly invited to come along and have a go at rounders, football, volleyball, petanque and croquet.
Of course, none of the sporting activities will be compulsory, so anyone wanting to just come along to enjoy a picnic, watch the fun and games, and perhaps get to know a few of the folk who attend different services to themselves, will be most welcome. Invite your family and friends too - the more the merrier!
Bring your own seats, rugs, food and drink - plus £1 per person to cover the admission charge to the Youth Camp (which has toilet and shower blocks, plus a large marquee in case of bad weather). Transport is also available.
