A church family picnic is being held at the Mersea Youth Camp on Sunday, September 20, from 1pm - and all are welcome! Just bring your own picnic and something to sit on then enjoy yourself in the company of your own family and friends as well as your church family. There will be rounders, petanque and five-a-side football for the energetic among us but if you prefer, you can just sit and cheer on the players. The Youth Camp is charging £2 per person and the money is supposed to be paid in advance so if you would like tickets please contact Sue Brook on 381730. Also, if you would like a lift or the loan of a folding-chair, please tell Sue.
A similar event held two years ago was voted a great success so do come along for an afternoon of good old-fashioned family fun! |
